The new worksheet is created, with the 'Please Wait' message, and then the 'Ready' message, but no information is displayed from my subfolders/workbooks. Even choosing the folder which directly contains an.xlsm produces no result.
Ron I've run the code. Only thing I changed was the worksheet source range & the Level to 2 & Ext Choice to 3. The new worksheet is created, with the 'Please Wait' message, and then the 'Ready' message, but no information is displayed from my subfolders/workbooks. Even choosing the folder which directly contains an.xlsm produces no result. I've tried changing through all the variables for the Level & Ext Choice but still no info. The range is correct as worked in your original Mac code (without subfolders).
It must be working through the subfolders because when i set Level to 3 (and chose a folder with at least 3 levels of subfolders) the code took longer to run and produce the 'Ready' message. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Hi Ron Yes, I included the first two lines. As a completely clean test, I've tried setting up a test folder, with 2 subfolders each with a new workbook and one line of sample data in a range. I've been calling the routine from a button on a separate workbook. The button links to the macro named MergeCode. Would this be the problem, ie the button doesnt go to the 'option explicit' line but to the 'sub MergeCode' line???
